Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.43%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.43%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS), which rose 34.29% or 36.00 points to trade at 141.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST) added 33.33% or 19.00 points to end at 76.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) was up 25.00% or 1.00 points to 5.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (JK:POOL), which fell 74.00% or 37.00 points to trade at 13.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 25.00% or 1.00 points to end at 3.00 and Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) was down 18.13% or 58.00 points to 262.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.29% or 36.00 to 141.00. Shares in Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST) rose to 52-week highs; up 33.33% or 19.00 to 76.00.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $70.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.24% or 0.90 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 16,190.00, while AUD/IDR fell 10.47% to 9,045.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
